Our 4-Year B.Sc Nursing (Basic) program at Chitkara School of Health Sciences is a full‑time program comprising eight semesters. The program prepares nurses and midwives for generalist nursing, including midwifery practice. Knowledge acquisition related to wellness, health promotion, illness, disease management, and care of the dying is core to nursing practice. Students are introduced to various aspects of patient care through academic and practical learning experiences. The program also focuses on developing professional competencies and communication skills required in healthcare environments.
