Our 3-Year B.Com program offers the opportunity to extend your studies by one year and graduate with an Honours degree. In the fourth year of the B.Com (Hons.) program, we offer our students the following three distinct options to choose from, each designed to elevate their academic and professional capabilities:
Engaging in research enables students to specialise in a specific area of business management, enhancing their proficiency in the chosen field while nurturing analytical thinking, critical evaluation, and practical application. It supports rigorous inquiry, promotes independent learning, and strengthens their ability to contribute effectively to professional environments.
This option is for those who have demonstrated academic excellence and secured a minimum of 75% marks in the first six semesters. It enables students to hone their critical and analytical skills by undertaking a dissertation project under the expert guidance and mentorship of our accomplished faculty.
This provides students with a unique opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world situations, thereby enhancing their employability skills as per NEP 2020. This program provides on-site experiential learning opportunities and exposure to industry practices, which is an invaluable addition to your academic and professional journey.
In accordance with the NEP 2020, the Bachelor of Commerce Program has been revised to include holistic and interdisciplinary learning with flexible choice-based credit system and allowing the student to choose minors as per the choices of the student. The program offers a basket of minor courses from third year to provide them with additional skills in related area, thus improving the career prospects. The minors can be chosen from the following basket: FinTech | Financial Markets | Wealth Management
The syllabus is designed to equip the students with the knowledge and skills in a very progressive manner. We provide structured flow from Foundation to Intermediate to Advanced courses. The syllabus ensures progressive learning from foundation to advanced courses.
Note: Non-credit courses are also offered other than curriculum like community service, Literacy Initiatives, Short term Internships, Summer School, Exchange Programs with International Exposure as a means of providing experiential learning and enhancing the knowledge of the students.
