Our Bachelor of Business Administration BBA (General) program has been designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to become an effective manager in diverse organisational settings. This 3-year degree program provides students with a strong foundation in all aspects of general management, including accounting, marketing, finance, organisational behaviour and strategy. The course aims to supply future managers and professionals to various business and management sectors as well as to provide the key knowledge, skills, and attributes vital to modern organisations.
Innovation, enterprise and digitalisation underpin this program. Entrepreneurship, key to economic growth, is central to this three-year course where students develop management knowledge and apply it innovatively. Students develop management knowledge, apply it innovatively through hands-on internships and live projects, and specialise via electives in sales, digital marketing, and analytics. Global partnerships further enhance cross-cultural competencies and international career readiness.
Our 3-Year BBA (General) program offers the opportunity to extend your studies by one year and graduate with an Honours degree. In the fourth year of the BBA (General) (Hons.) program, we offer our students the following three distinct options to choose from, each designed to elevate their academic and professional capabilities:
Engaging in research enables students to specialise in a specific area of business management, enhancing their proficiency in the chosen field while nurturing analytical thinking, critical evaluation, and practical application. It supports rigorous inquiry, promotes independent learning, and strengthens their ability to contribute effectively to professional environments.
This option is for those who have demonstrated academic excellence and secured a minimum of 75% marks in the first six semesters. It enables students to hone their critical and analytical skills by undertaking a dissertation project under the expert guidance and mentorship of our accomplished faculty.
This provides students with a unique opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world situations, thereby enhancing their employability skills as per NEP 2020. This program provides on-site experiential learning opportunities and exposure to industry practices, which is an invaluable addition to your academic and professional journey.
The program provides you with a strong foundation in core business disciplines such as General Management, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Organisational Behaviour and Strategy behaviour. The program will broadly teach you about Distribution Management, Marketing Research, Executive & Leadership Management Skills, Market Strategies, Product Management and Marketing Analytics.
In the fifth semester students take elective / optional courses and can specialise in one of the following core sectors like Sales and Retail Management, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain Management or Business Analytics. In-depth industry knowledge is gained through specialised courses.
Note: Non-credit courses are also offered other than curriculum like community service, Literacy Initiatives, Short term Internships, Summer School, Exchange Programs with International Exposure as a means of providing experiential learning and enhancing the knowledge of the students.
