Chitkara University to host Kala Kumbh in collaboration with NGMA, Ministry of Culture, GoI

Chitkara University, Punjab, in collaboration with the National Gallery of Modern Art, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is organizing Kala Kumbh from December 25th, 2021, to January 2nd, 2022. The seven day- workshop series is being organized under the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” campaign. 250 renowned painters from across the country will work on a 450 metres long Scroll Painting which will be displayed at Raj Path, New Delhi, on Republic Day. The Scroll will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. 10 renowned painters will be mentoring these artists who will depict India’s freedom movement and showcase the contribution of patriots.
