Global Conference on AI-Driven Sustainable Technologies and Higher Education Innovation.

The DST-funded Chitkara University Technology Enabling Centre (CU-TEC), Chitkara University, Punjab, successfully co-organized the Global Conference on AI-Driven Sustainable Technologies & Higher Education Innovation on February 21–22, 2026, at Kirloskar Institute of Management (KIM), Pune, in collaboration with Confab 360 Degree (India), Kirloskar Institute of Management (Pune, India), and Rushford Business School (Switzerland), with esteemed industry partnerships from the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), India, and ABWCI – Association of Business Women in Commerce and Industry. The conference witnessed participation of close to 200 delegates, including leaders of Global Capability Centres, eminent academic researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers from eight countries — India, Switzerland, Australia, China, USA, Jordan, Malaysia, and Japan.

The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Chandrasekhar Buddha, CEO, Anuvadini AI, Ministry of Education, Government of India, who highlighted the importance of skill development and building a global knowledge repository. Representing Chitkara University, Dr. Amit Mittal (PVC Research Programs) delivered a keynote address, Dr. Sagar Juneja (Associate Director, Research) moderated a panel featuring industry and academia experts, and Dr. Sushil Kumar Narang (Professor and Dean, CSE-AI) delivered an expert talk on emerging AI applications.

The conference facilitated meaningful discussion on AI-enabled sustainable technologies, higher education transformation, global collaboration frameworks, and innovation ecosystems. Wonderful discussions among academia, industry leaders, policymakers, and international experts reinforced the shared commitment toward advancing responsible Artificial Intelligence for sustainable development.
