Campus Placement is arduous, and the competition is fierce. But even here at Chitkara Business School, the defining principle Confidence Without Attitude won out. We had informal Friday
prep sessions at Chitkara Business School where we reviewed case studies, shared resources and coached each other. We helped every one of us be as prepared as possible. Dream came true. I bagged the job through Campus Placements at Reckitt & Benckisser. Thanks to Chitkara Business School for changing lives!

I found the MBA ( Healthcare Mgmt) curriculum at Chitkara School of Health Sciences run at the Chitkara University Punjab campus to be very educative and it provided me an opportunity to understand the nuances of Healthcare being from a non-healthcare background. The quality of teachers and experts contacted to run the Modules were of high caliber. The icing on the cake was the neat and clean campus with high standards of discipline coupled with weekly visits to Fortis Hospital for orientation.

It has been a great experience to be part of the Chitkara School of Health Sciences. My journey at Chitkara Business School (CBS) has been full of excitement, challenges and learning. It was an environment of great fun, where every day offered the chance to learn something new.

At CBS the focus is on nurturing and enriching the young talents so that they are metamorphosed into efficient and effective managers. The motto of the School is to make its graduates “industry ready”, and they admirable succeed in their task.
I believe that the experience and learning that I received at CBS will always guide me towards success—in personal as well as professional matters. I found the environment at CBS focused on developing a personality that can take on any challenge, while constantly moving forward.

The module design at CBS is in accordance with requirements of industry, and is reputed for his high standard. On top of that, the curriculum is delivered by dedicated, experienced professionals who help the students attain a firm foundation before they start their careers.

Sandeep Singh
MBA – 2009-11

Advertising was always my forte and area of interest. Consequently, I never took interest in finance or other subjects related to the discipline of marketing. Since my graduation, I harboured the dream of working in the exciting world of advertising, and apply my creative, innovative thoughts and ideas there. I took the first step towards the realization of this dream when I enrolled in the MBA Program at CBS. My dream was realized when I was placed, straight from campus, at OOH Media Agency, Gurgaon as a content manager. It is a fast-track Program that is full of energy and challenges. During the Program there was a time when I felt over-exhausted, but when I look back at it today I realize that it is because of that fast-track, rigorous Program I am able to survive, and survive well, in such a challenging industry.
He has been placed at OOH Media, Gurgaon as a Content Manager.

Rohan Saha

It was a very nostalgic day for me to come to Chitkara University after eight years and experience the transformation. From the moment I entered the gates of the University, every second spent was reminiscent of my college days, said Rohan Saha, who is Manager, PWC, and an alumni of Chitkara University of 2003-2007 Batch. Rohan had interacted with fourth and sixth semester students of CSE and ECE during an interaction session on “Empowering Engineers with Technical Skills and Corporate Challenges” on April 13, 2015 organised by Chitkara Alumni Network. He said, “I am grateful to Madhu ma’am for inviting me and giving me the opportunity to interact with the students. Chitkara University has shown the true meaning of transformation in leap and bounds, starting with less than 500 students in our times to 6000+ students on the campus. It has simply awed me.” From his days of 2003-07, with just Newton and Edison blocks to more than 10 buildings, each housing a center of excellence, the university has come a long way. Rohan added, “Be it the new blocks, indoor stadium the awesome amphitheatre, the University is really providing the best facilities to its students. It was a true pleasure experiencing all the love and respect from the faculty and students. I wish all the very best to my alma mater.”

Mandeep Babra

Being at the University campus after eight years of passing out was an amazing experience, with both nostalgia and excitement playing its part. Having interacted with the students of the upcoming batches, I am sure that our university is up for a lot more of corporate recognition and accolades in times to come, these are the words of Mandeep Babra, Team Lead, Sapient, an alumni of Chitkara University of 2003-2007 Batch. After interacting with students of CSE from fourth and sixth semester, Mandeep stated that from asking the right set of questions, to openness in sharing their thoughts, it felt that the students have been getting the right kind of exposure, which no doubt has always been a trade mark of our great institution. He added, “From my days of 2003-07, with just Newton and Edison blocks to more than 10 buildings, each housing a center of excellence, the university has come a long way in the commitment to provide its students the best, and here I specially want to mention about the EXPLOTARIUM which I feel is par excellence with big corporate houses in INDIA.” He paid his gratitude to Dr. Mrs. Madhu Chitkara, stating that without her vision all this would have not been possible.
I wish the University and its students a lot of success in times to come.

Chandan Bajaj

After having a meaningful session with the current MBA batch, I thank my alma mater for making me share my experiences with present students. Mr Chandan Bajaj, who passed out from the Chitkara Business School, batch 2006-2008, is Senior Manager – Preferred Banking at HDFC Bank Ltd. The session was conducted with the aim of giving an insight of real banking and finance experience first-hand. I intend to do be of help whenever I can to Chitkara University in the times to come. I interacted with the university students and it was sheer nostalgia that swept me and I felt like coming back to the student life and the meaningful life that I spent at the University. These budding managers have so much hope in themselves and they all owe it to their faculty that drives them and the motto of the University, ‘Explore your potential’, which keeps the students here thriving.
The University is thankful to Mr Bajaj for giving his time and insight to the students.
