Chitkara University’s DST-sponsored Technology Enabling Centre (CU-TEC), in collaboration with the Healthcare Management Department, Chitkara Business School, successfully organized a one-day Academia-Industry Meet on Healthcare Innovations on April 7, 2025, at Chitkara University, Punjab. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of 50 healthcare leaders from Africa, along with innovators, researchers, and industry professionals from across the healthcare sector.

The meet served as a vibrant platform to showcase healthcare-related products, services, and research innovations, aiming to foster industry-academia collaboration and enable access to emerging African markets. A total of 14 exhibitors from the healthcare sector, comprised of start-ups, MSMEs, and academic researchers, actively participated in the exhibition and networking sessions throughout the day.

The event was facilitated under the broader objective of CU-TEC to promote collaborative technological development between academic institutions and MSMEs. The meeting successfully bridged the gap between research and commercialization, opening avenues for future partnerships and joint development initiatives in the healthcare sector.
