Global Week was initiated by Chitkara University in 2013. An endeavor that began in the spring of 2013 with approximately six professors of various nationalities delivering lectures to engineering students has since expanded to the following astounding magnitudes. Enhancing student mobility across campuses, and expanding faculty exchange opportunities. A significant amount of attention is currently being given to Collaborative Research, with Global Week serving as a springboard. Global Week is an exemplary manifestation of Chitkara University’s dedication to cultivating an intellectually invigorating atmosphere. This occasion not only fosters a sense of academic distinction but also cultivates in its participants an inclination towards inquisitiveness, originality, and cooperation. Our students are directly exposed to the globalization of education, while our international partners gain insight into our evolving academic excellence, interact with our faculty and students, and, most significantly, foster a sense of community among nations. The knowledge gained and connections made during Global Week paved the way for the formation of stronger ties and additional alliances. The visiting faculty members teach credit-bearing courses while we endeavor to immerse them in the social and cultural nuances of India. Our students acquire an international perspective on the evolution of academic pedagogues through their participation in Global Week. This enables them to chart their academic careers across various regions of the world and at the academic institutions to which they are introduced during the week.
