Seagulls club is an endeavour of Chitkara Business School, Undergraduate department, to undertake and incorporate the practical applicability and creativity of the academics.
The activities unde<rtaken by the club are aimed towards providing a perfect platform where students of all the courses offered by CBS can showcase their talent and vibrancy. The club was established by Prof. Harkiran Kaur on April 28, 2010 with a vision statement, ‘Inculcate Intelligence, creativity and farsightedness among Management Professionals’.
The role of the club is to collect and share information related to student welfare activities, inter-departmental activities and Intra-departmental activities taking place in the university.
The students are motivated and encouraged to explore their analytical, leadership, team building and creativity skills through these activities. Our endeavour is display and appreciation of the talent.
Seagulls club undertakes the activities like Cultural Activities, Creative Writing, Slogan writing, ad mad shows, Rural Mandi, dance, Drama, Group Discussion, Advertisement making, Billboard making, Photography, Quiz and many more nurturing the talents, articulation, flexibility and adaptability of students.

In this two-day annual event, the Seagulls Club of Chitkara Business School executed the event Masquerade. A management problem was given to a team of students who were supposed to find the solution for the same along with its enactment. This activity was orchestrated with a view to make the students have a glimpse of the corporate world and enrich their analytical thinking to foster the decision making.
The organizers of the event ensured bigger participation from different streams and also from outside the campus. The Judge was invited from Punjabi University to evaluate the participants. Winners were awarded with the prizes.
The students enjoyed organizing two Fun-cum-technical games like TIME OUT and MAZE for all the students at university level.
Time out was a mind game of three members forming a team. One member initiates by picking a topic and then depicting it on a canvas, after10 seconds the second member continues the depiction without any information of the topic and the third member was supposed to guess it right.
Maze was a one-member analytical game. In this the participant has to reach the end point after crossing various hurdles .
A half-day intradepartmental activity was organized by the club. This poster making competition was based on the diverse themes reflecting the different faces of our nation:
The students from BBA and B.com participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
