
In India, as all over the globe, the Jean Monnet Actions co-finance the best academic initiatives promoting the teaching, learning, research and debates on various aspect of the European Union. Around 9000 university teachers and more than 1000 universities in around 100 countries have received financial support, enabling them to offer new content on European studies as part of their curricula. By connecting academics, researchers and policy-makers, the Jean Monnet Actions have stimulated the international dialogue and supported policymakers at the national and the EU level.
The Jean Monnet Modules are short teaching programmes or courses on EU studies at Higher Education Institutions. They are organised by one researcher/professor, involving and may the participation of colleagues, outreaching students and professionals on issues related to the European integration process.
