Student Achievements | Chitkara University

Holistic development of students encompassing the integration of intellectual, social and emotional aspects of student learning has become one of the important aspects of all Chitkara academic programs. Significant emphasis is placed on making each and every student more aware of his environment and to empathize with his peers.

AIESEC

Chitkara is one of the few Educational foundations to work closely with AIESEC which is a unique network of over 30,000 students pursuing business and technical related degree programs in over 750 higher educational institutions in more than 85 countries and territories. It is the largest student run organization in the world which is non- political, non-profit, independent and diverse.

Six students from Chitkara University were sent on AIESEC Chelyabinsk Russia, Project - Education Without Borders internship program for six weeks from 25th December, 2009 to 2nd February, 2010 & one student for Global Exchange Programme of AIESEC Turkey.
Student Platform for Engineering Education and Development (SPEED)

Student Platform for Engineering Education and Development (SPEED) is a global, non-profit student organisation that functions as an interdisciplinary network of engineering students, who aspire to provide opinion and create an impact on future development of engineering education and its effect on society and environment.

Two students from Chitkara University participated in Student Platform for Engineering Education and Development (SPEED) conference held at St. Petersburg, Russia.

We at Chitkara believe that Extra Curricular activities are more of stress busters and help students in relaxing from their kind of daily routine. Regular trainings are provided to interested students for Salsa/Hiphop etc. by professionals.
