Exploretorium reverberated, thumped with joy of students during the “Tenth Annual Convocation”

A decade’s journey of crafting some of the finest professionals was witnessed with much joy and pride at the Tenth Annual Convocation event held at the University. It has indeed been a proud moment year after year not only for the students who get their degrees but also for the faculty to see their efforts bearing results in the shape of able professionals.
Literally a “calling together,” the University’s convocation assembles all elements of the University community: degree candidates and their families, and friends, the faculty, the deans, the founders of the University and our revered guests.
The actual day of the convocation was busy, fun and exciting. The graduation ceremony was full of tradition and history, and took place in the beautiful Exploretorium, which has been a part of the university since long. Hundreds of students from all different kinds of programs were called up one-by-one to accept their degrees in front of family and friends. It was truly a moment filled with pleasure and delight.
Convocation is more than just a formal ceremony for the conferral of degrees, diplomas, and certificates—it is a time-honoured tradition that celebrates a student’s achievement in the setting up of the University community to which they now have a permanent place.
At the Convocation they celebrated collectively and individually with all the pomp and show. They received their parchment as evidence of the days and long nights of study and toil that they spent at the campus. The convocation saw eminent scholars as a part of the event. There were motivating speeches and the achievements of the University were highlighted that have left an indelible mark on everyone.
