CSMS Students bags 2nd runner-up position at Media Fest at Doaba College, Jalandhar

Chitkara School of Mass Communication (CSMC) has bagged the “2nd Runner-Up” position at the Media Fest `Communis’, organised by Doaba College, Jalandhar. The Fest was held on March 17, 2017. With over 15 Universities and Colleges participating in the event, it was a tough competition for every team.

Team CSMC got two first positions with student Anmol Vaid winning in RJ Hunt and Ritu in Caption Writing contest finishing on top. The Documentary on ‘Efects of Social Networking’ bagged second prize. Rajat stood second in the personality reflection event. Beerinder’s audio story was adjudged the second best in the event.

The CSMC Choreography team won the Third prize and their video advertisement on discrimination by people on the basis of language, feature and religion landed them a Consolation award in their kitty. The students took part in all the events and put their best foot forward.

They were accompanied to the fest by Faculty – Ms Gurjit Kaur, Mr Rajesh Chauhan and Ms Hemendra Kanwar. The faculty encouraged the students and motivated them throughout to keep up their spirits.
