Chitkara students experience enthrall, get beguiled at Germany Auto Tour

Students from Chitkara University started their auto tour with much excitement and a will to learn more. The Germany Auto Tour started with Beautiful Heidenheim where the students got the first glimpse of Germany.

Auto Tour Team went to DHBW Campus, Heidenheim, Porsche Museum, Deutche Bahn where they learnt the nuances of motor manufacturing and more. They had a Gala Dinner Tri Nation, which comprised India Germany and USA at Kirkcheim and interacted with other students.

The team visited the mystic Rothenburg – Snowy and Old Medieval city of Germany to get an insight into Germany and enjoyed the local flavor there. About nine students from Chitkara University were among the 79 students, who were enrolled for the Business Simulation event at DHBW Heidenheim. Students from Germany and USA teamed up with our students at the event. The Event TOPSIM was conceptualized and was managed by Tata Interactive Systems.

Our students visited the Mercedes Benz Museum/AMG Plant at Stuttgart Germany where they witnessed some of the finest motor mechanism.

Good times are always short spanned and the last weekend before the students flew back to India from Auto Tour Germany, they enjoyed their intellectual stimulation tour to the BMW World and saw the manufacturing of the three Series, M4 Coupe and Sedan in entirety at Munich Headquarters.

As Sunday drew in, it was heavy snowfall, which in a way completed the tour for the University students experiencing temperatures as low as -10 degree Celsius. They braved the cold and channelized their energy to play with it and visited Bayern Munich Allianz Arena, the place, which churned out majority of the players of the German National team, which won the FIFA World Cup recently. The team decided to take the local pick for travel purposes and travelled by bus, intercity rail services and the tour for them has certainly been an Enthralling Experience. Way to go team Chitkara.
