Chitkara School of Mass Communication students interact with eminent writers at Literati

Chitkara School of Mass Communication students had a chance to interact with many writers and artists during the literature fest – Literati, organised at Lake Club, Chandigarh.

Chandigarh Literati or Chandigarh Literature Festival is a literary festival held in Chandigarh, India. It is organised by the Chandigarh Literary Society with the support of the Chandigarh Administration and Haryana Tourism.
The popular names visiting Chitkara University stall were Radhika Vaz, Shauna Singh Baldwin, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Amish Tripathi, Tarek Fateh, Jas Grewal, Ashwin Sanghi and Shyam Bhatt. Neekita Singh, Fiza, Mansi, Chirag, Aditi and Beerinder volunteered to be a part of the event.

The Chandigarh Literati was originally conceived in an attempt to promote the literary arts in the city, to provide a platform for talented regional writer and thinkers and making available world-class writers to the public. We are glad that Chitkara University students got a chance to interact with renowned names from the field of literature.

The keynote address was delivered by Commonwealth Writers’ Prize winner Indo-Canadian author Shauna Singh Baldwin. The three-day fest unfolded with extravagant stories, exhilarating discussion and scintillating cultural programmes.
The event saw some debut poets like Amish Tripathi, Shauna Singh Baldwin, Ashwin Sanghi, Tarek Fatah, Saeed Naqvi, Karan Bajaj and our students stated that it was an absolute delight interacting with these names at the fest.
