3rd International Yoga Day was celebrated with enthusiasm by faculty and staff members at University Campus

Chitkara University, Punjab celebrated 3rd International Yoga day in its campus focussing on the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of its faculty and staff members. Yoga day at the university campus was organised by NSS Department of the University under the guidance of Ms. Neelam, Programme Coordinator NSS. The event was attended by Dr. S.C. Sharma, Registrar, Col. Rakesh Sharma, Director Office of University Affairs, Dr. Sangeeta Pant, Dean CCE, Mr. Amit Dhadhwal, Assistant Director Office of Student Affairs, Chitkara University.

The Focus of the entire event was to provide the participants with the oneness of an individual by focussing on the Yoga asanas ranging from standing poses, sitting poses and lying poses along with briefing them about its benefits and the event was concluded by performing Pranayam which is a must do for each individual thus keeping the mind stress free.

The session was conducted by Dr. Parul Sood, Assistant Professor, CCE (Yoga Expert). The event was attended by more than 100 NSS volunteers.
