2 YEARS MASTER IN MASS COMMUNICATION (MMC)
- The course is geared towards realizing the following objectives :
- To provide intensive theoretical and practical knowledge in various media professions ranging from the management of a media organization to the more scholarly field of
research.
- To provide an integrated perspective of media functioning along with a fair amount of exposure to technical know-how.
- To hone the student's analytical ability, interest and an insatiable curiosity in the happenings in one's surroundings, all of which are required to make one a good
journalist.
Completion of this course would open vistas for fulfilling careers in various media like television production, corporate advertising, photography and related fields and would also provide enough preparation for managing any media organization.
- Eligibility
The minimum qualification to apply is a
bachelor's degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from
a recognised university.
Those appearing for the final year of the bachelor's degree may also apply, subject to completing their examinations before joining the programme.

All candidates seeking admission to Master's programme at Chitkara School of Mass Communication will be put through a Personal Interview.
Eligible candidates with appropriate industry experience have an added advantage.
