Chitkara University’s vision of providing international quality education has resulted in international linkages with reputed universities. In this process Chitkara has signed exchange arrangements with prestigious universities such as Purdue University, Central Michigan University (CMU), University of Massachusetts (UMASS) , and University of Applied Sciences , Osnabrueck.
Chitkara University has also initiated student Exchange programmes to promote a greater understanding of the multiple perspectives of the international issues and increase the competencies of students to work in an increasingly interdependent world. The semester abroad programs foster personal development, global awareness, meaningful engagement and cross- cultural understanding among the students.
Faculty is also invited from accredited universities and business schools to provide benefit to the students from their expertise. Faculty members from partner universities visit Chitkara University to deliver short term and fast track lectures to the students in different disciplines.
Chitkara University also offers dual degree programs in the disciplines of InformationTechnology and Hospitality with George Brown College (GBC), Toronto. Under these joint programs the students study for two years at Chitkara University and then complete their final year at the GBC campus in Toronto, with the option available to students to qualify to join a post graduation work program of up to one year in Canada.
