Admission Procedure

The eligibility criteria for admission to 5-year B.Arch. shall be as follows:

10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University with Mathematics as a subject of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks.

OR

10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.

OR

International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

 NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture)

 A national level online test coordinated by NIASA (National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture), Pune – Academic Unit of Council of Architecture.

 Prospective applicants desirous of taking admission to First year of undergraduate course in Architecture (Bachelor of Architecture) in India take NATA.

 Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture is a designated test centre for conducting NATA since 2006.

 Over the last two years more than 360 students (200 in the present year) have appeared for NATA from CSPA.

 The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportions, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking that are related to the specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

Chitkara Chandigarh Administrative Office & Punjab Campus are approved NATA Test Centres. The test is conducted every Saturday at Chandigarh centre & Monday to Friday at Punjab campus.

The admissions shall be carried out based on the valid NATA score and marks secured in the qualifying examination in the ratio 50:50
