It is the technical Community of Electrical Engineers of Chitkara Institute of Engineering and Technology. It was established in 2002 by students of first batch of Electrical Engineering at C.I.E.T. e Pradaman Shorey , Deepika , Vivek Sarswat , Mansi Kapoor. The first and second presidents of the club were Pradaman Shorey and Harpreet Singh Oberoi respectively.

Objective

The main objective of the club is to work for improvement of technical knowledge of students and also providing them an exposure to technical world by involving them in technical fests, seminars and workshops. The other objectives of the club are-

1 2 ka 4(Oct’08)

The quiz ‘1 2 ka 4’ was organized by Elecrama in oct’08. The quiz was based on general knowledge, general awareness, geography, history and facts. The rounds in the quiz were-

Operation Jeet

It was a team quiz consisting of two members each. Over 100 teams participated. 20 teams reached the second round and only 5 teams qualified for the final round. All the participants got participation certificate and the winners were awarded with attractive prizes and Winning certificates.

Shardha’08(Sep’08)

Teacher’s day was celebrated at CIET campus as every year. All the teachers of Chitkara Educational Trust were invited. We are highly obliged to Mr. Ashok Chitkara (Chairman, Chitkara Educational Trust) for their kind presence during Shardha’08. The celebration started with golden words of Mr. Ashok Chitkara. Elecrama was also a part of the organizing teams as were other clubs. Making the environment more delighted, Elecrama came up with the query game round ‘Uncensored-d censored Quiz’. Teachers showed great response in respect to the game and were awarded at the spot.

Gameeks 1.o (Apr’08)

All the clubs joined hands this time and the result was the national level gaming extravaganza held for the first time in any college all over India. The overwhelming response of the participants from various colleges all over India made the fest an Evidence of creativity and hard work done by the students of CIET. It was a challenging tournament for gaming freaks to prove & show their mettle which would involve the enthusiastic gamers from more than 400 colleges across India to compete in a 24 hr gaming event. The games selected for the fest were-

With Zapak as title sponsor and Spykar as Style sponsor, over 1000 students participated and won prizes worth 2 lakhs.

Crayons’07(Apr’07)

Crayons was an intra college fest .All the clubs have participated in the fest. The fest was a combination of technical games and fun events. The fest continued for two days and ended up with a great Response from the students of CIET. Various Events from Elecrama Club were:-

The tremendous fun and a technically sound environment was created in the college. The fest was a great opportunity for the students of the college to go through various phases of the Engg. at same place. Every club was full of creative events.

Vidyut D Sparkz (Oct ’06)

This individual Fest was organized by Elecrama again. The fest continued for one day. The various technical games in the fest were:-

Fiesta Technica (Sep’05)

It was a technical fest organized by the founder members in the year 2005.The fest was a fusion of games and technical events. This was the first fest organized by Club Elecrama.
