Objective:
The main objective of the club is to bring together all those students who want to give their creativity a healthy outlet.
  • Aims at working together as a team, & helping materialize innovative ideas.

  • Propagate and promote rich cultural heritage from across the Country amongst the Chitkara community and popularize performing arts like vocal and instrumental music, dance, painting etc.

  • Engender experiences, which will inculcate a passion for performing arts amongst students, through live performances by renowned artistes, maestros, singers, learning workshops and lectures.

  • Provide opportunities to amateur artistes to develop their latent talents, perform to fellow students and thereby gain confidence

  • Offer talented students an opportunity to spread their love of art through organizing their own workshops and teaching fellow students The club has hosted and organized several small as well as large scale events in the past.

 Year 2010
  • FOOTLOOSE

    FOOTLOOSE with a tenor was an inter college free –style dance competition including the solo and group performances. Participants had a venture to oust their energy and zeal and left the audience spellbound and mesmerized with their beautiful and meritorious performances. FOOTLOOSE proved to be a magnet for everyone and brought in the racy air and was a huge success. It is rightly said –“it’s not just the movements that make a dance beautiful, it’s the emotions that inspire to make the movements or dance beautiful.

  • FUTSOL was a pseudonym for “football” which was to be played on a hard surface with the football and wherein two teams of four members each were playing against each other with a time limit of 15 minutes.A one of its kind football tournament saw many students ecstatic to take part and win. It was the only event in the fest that was related to sports and hence experienced a massive participation.

  • C4 ANTAKSHARI ‘09-

    Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. To experience entertainment and the spirit of competition simultaneously, C4 organised an antakshari competition for all students of the campus The participants consisted of various teams of two members each who were promoted to the next round based on their skills.This competition received a great response from the participants, audience as well as the faculty members.

  • RANGMANCH-

    At Pratibimbh, a cultural fest, C4 organised Rangmanch, a competition where the participants could exhibit their acting skills in the drama category.It was one of the most popular and unique event of the fest.The students took part in the mono-acting, street-play and other various categories.

    Many issues such as social,economic,domestic and global were brought to the forefront through this event.

  • Vibrations
    One of the major cultural events held in college was VIBRATIONS, fully planned and coordinated by C4 and other clubs of the campus were given an opportunity to implement their respective ideas under the same. Various events like debate, singing competition, jewellery making, rangoli making and certain technical events were conducted

  • Valentine’s party 08’
    Valentine,s party 08’ was planned and organized by Chitkara campus cultural club which included a dance party for all. Several stalls like music on request, flower stall, chocolate stall, etc., were also put up by the club.

  • Bienvenue (Fresher’s party 08’)
    The club organized a fresher’s party for the 08’ batch in which they were given an opportunity to showcase their talent & at the same time introduce themselves to other students through ramp walk & introduction rounds .Various other cultural items like bhangra , gidda , western dance ,etc. were also included in the event.

  • The C4 extempore contest
    Through the means of an extempore competition organized by the club in September 08’ the club tried to bring out the hidden spontaneity and confidence among the students of CIET. An ipod was awarded as 1st prize to the winner.

  • Thursday events:
    The club also executed its innovative idea of conducting certain activities and competitions under the Thursday Umbrella ,as per which, many small scale events were organized during break or free lectures for overall personality development of 1st and 2nd year students. Some of those events are as follows:
