Entrepreneurship is a means to impact and there should be broad access and multiple pathways to it. Important to our approach is a belief that entrepreneurship should be taught at Chitkara University.
Chitkara Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CCED) has been established at Chitkara University to help students understand what entrepreneurship means to them
individually, how it connects to their studies, their goals, their lives and the world in which they live.
Chitkara University is the academic partner of TiE Chandigarh chapter and is focusing on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs.
The mission of TiE is to promote entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking & education. Started in 1992 by successful entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, today the TiE
network has over 13,000 members in 13 countries and 5 continents.
NATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP NETWORK (NEN)
Chitkara University is a member of National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN). Founded in 2002, it is a not-for-profit initiative of the Wadhwani Foundation, working to inspire,
educate and support the next generation of high-growth entrepreneurs in India. Chitkara University’s focus is on introducing a new paradigm in entrepreneurship education in
India. Its ultimate goal is to help launch thousands of new entrepreneurs, who in turn will create hundreds of thousands of much-needed valuable jobs for India.
